Hi,

Carmen Vanhaeren is an illustrator and visual artist based in Leuven (Belgium). She graduated in 2014 as a Bachelor Graphic Designer and as a Master in the Arts (Illustration) in 2016, from the Media, Arts and Design Faculty in Hasselt.

​Making an illustration is a way to create the impossible dreams you always wanted to have. There's no past, no future, just you and your imagination.​

Carmen attemps to create pictures that can bear the silence between a figure, an animal or even a thought with a view to tell a story without any words, but just by the help of our imagination.
